Boxing versus Business

Business:

A good business deal is like a good boxing match. The only thing missing is the bell and the ticket sales. Whether it's a person or company being represented, both parties first get themselves in the best condition possible in the attempt to last however long the fight will.

Business plans, number crunching, gross and net profit reports are all apart of the training process. The next step is to introduce yourself to your soon to be counterpart who’s probably already watching you from a far off.
If the challenge is accepted legalities are handled and the PR and press conferences are held. Everybody gets excited and we may even see the two parties shake hands. Although in business, deals are referred to as joint ventures or partnerships; the minute the match starts so does the fighting. Frustration, fatigue, low blows, and anything else you can image takes place. The match last for a certain amount time and then it's over.

If both parties are lucky hopefully they make money and live to fight another day. Now if there’s any business owner reading, can I get amen brother?!
